Is it true that Mainland Chinese need to carry THREE DIFFERENT passports now?


i've been told nice lady guangzhou prc issues 3 different passports citizens:
1 normal international travel
1 hk , macao
1 taiwan (roc)

don't know if true or not, nor why prc citizen need 2 additional "international travel documents" go places government claims part of country.

didn't have use existing usa passport travel boston puerto rico, let alone apply second 1 so. so, gives?

have photo examples of these varying passports? i'm curious know if 1 taiwan includes new map showing prc "owns" south china sea, along taiwan.

if there differing prc passports issued traveling , hk/macao or taiwan, allow multiple entries/exits without visa being granted host region/country?
