The korean age system?
yup! in korea, you're 1 year old once you're born. age system kinda confusing i'll try best explain!
here's easy equation:
korean age = year - birth year + 1
but, if born before lunar new years (january or february), you're considered year older , born year before.
instance, person born on 10th january, 1995, korean age:
2013 (year now) - 1995 (birth year) + 1 + 1 = 20 years old (korean age)
or in normal cases, being born on 23rd may, 1995, korean age:
2013 (year now) - 1995 (birth year) + 1 = 19 years old (korean age)
hope helped ^.^
im confused it. heard gain 2 years cause when born 1 , on lunar new years gain another. people tell me gain 1 year!
