Does a computer need a network adapter ?


yes.

desk top computer have rj45 ethernet port (network interface card or nic) on motherboard. cable connecting computer router/modem internet connection.

laptop have rj45 ethernet port have built in wifi.

> if reinstall operating system have download , install drivers both nic , wifi.

my brother bought new gaming computer, downloaded windows 7 on it. tried connect wifi ipod , laptop on. computer couldn't find wifi.
need network adaptor find wifi connect computer or need else?
