trip ashdod bethlehem takes 29 hours.

looking @ map, missing distance should take 11 hours walking.

gives total of 103 hours

103 hours @ 10 hours per day walking, equals 10,3 days . give or take day or 2 "customs , passport control" , other formalities, ;-), swapping asses , resting on sabbath, should have taken joseph less 15 days walking, else suggested.

remember, in days there no trains, buses, cars , not bicycles. people fitter , had no problem walking long distances everywhere needed be.
