Salary enough in China ?

5000 rmb. can survive on it. if want live in hovel, can rent under 1000 rmb. halfway decent cost 2,000+. however, extremely low salary foreigner in expensive city gz. assume teaching? average teacher in city 10,000 plus free housing. free housing pretty standard. live in gz, have free housing , made 250,000 + last year, and, know, thats ok really. looking @ making less quarter of that. eating cheaply - noodles etc 30 day. rent in poor hovel 30 day.bus , work 4 day. sundries - clothes, bills, cell phone 36 day = 100 day, meaning, if have no social life, eat simply, live in hovel, don't turn on ac can save 2000 month. eat out lot, go pub, trips hk, short holidays, , have wife, blow thru 10,000 month, can still save 12,000 - 15,000.

think being ripped off

hi got job in guangzhou. salary 800 dollars/ month. enough survive in china this. how can save monthly after accomodation , food. no more expenses then
