Why won't my phone charge?

had exact same problem last week. first, have tried plugging in different outlets? try if haven't yet. if still doesn't work, plug different device outlet , see if has response. if doesn't know it's problem outlets (go flip switch room in power box). if other device work in outlet know it's problem charging cord or phone itself. try plugging else's phone outlet cord (make sure it's compatable), if works phone problem go retailer. if phone doesn't work cord try buying new cord, problem.
