Is it even possible to get paid for being a musician anymore?


love music, , love writing music , dream paid musician someday, feel impossible make money writing music these days. nobody buys music anymore (lost of people pirate it), , there 1000 applicants job write music (like tv show or movie) , makes chances of getting job low. write , record songs , put them on youtube , result i've gained small following music. put music both free , sale in case willing buy it, , i've made around $30 sales, that's on past 6 months , there's no way can live off that.
