should able money back. digital purchases, or when purchasing isn't physically shipped, paypal tends side buyer unless seller can prove item delivered. however, *how* sent payment seller (purchase / personal, goods / services / gift / payment owed, etc) may affect outcome. payment labeled appropriately, though don't know how might affect paypal's decision if seller doesn't voluntarily refund or perform service. i've dealt paypal disputes both seller , buyer, not funds sent through 'send money' tab.

paypal involved, need file complaint / dispute purchase. so, login paypal, find transaction paid seller. click on 'details' link. @ bottom of transaction details page, you'll see link talks filing dispute / claim or mentions resolution center (they may have different wording depending on type of transaction). click link , provide information requested. sure provide whatever proof can - emails, screenshots of web pages - whatever can use prove side.

initially, paypal resolution process takes place between buyer & seller. dispute can end without paypal's involvement if seller refunds or buyer (you) closes it. otherwise, after period of time, can submit dispute paypal have them decide happen. can take days or week or more depending on how things unfold.

while paypal tends side buyers in digital / non-physical transactions, if seller can provide proof ordered delivered, can win case & won't refund. based on you've said though, , long way made payment wasn't labeled incorrect (like sending gift), have pretty shot @ getting money back. @ least based on experience.

based on _experience_ sellers must provide proof of delivery digital transaction if transaction disputed. seller i've lost disputes on digital transactions & won them buyer. because paypal's copy outdated or they're using other model determine winner & loser in these cases doesn't change fact how is. speak internet marketer or deals exclusively intangible (digital) sales 50k-100k+ paypal transactions - there's variance gets refund (or keeps money) depending on proof provided.

so guy told me hed unlock iphone $50. done remotley not has ship anything. gave him money never unlocked it. paid paypal account paypal account wasnt through ebay or anything. possible money back?
