Eyeglass frames for high prescription?


have bad eyesight , i've been reading called "high index" lenses. read essentially, best option high prescription because thins lens. while know bigger frames lead bigger eyeglass lenses isn't advisable high prescription. getting high index lenses, make difference appearance wise? optometrist says do, i'd opinion of who's not benefiting choices, know? so, question. if i'm kind of fan of bigger framed glasses such these:

getting high index lenses potentially mean use whichever frames choose? or getting bigger frames= bigger lenses kind of cross out point of getting high index lenses.
if high index lenses, still recommended me opt "smaller frames" such these?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
