What is the genealogy of the name Trevett pre-England. Is it Norman, Anglo Saxon etc?


can't trace family far back. names have clear origin, such littlewood (mothers side) anglo saxon in name. yet name trevett hasn't been assimilated celtic, french, scandinavian or germanic groupings wondering if fall of brackets. know doesn't make difference , have mixed blood lines. interesting know name came originally, in different form. such truet etc

i live in england , i've been tracing family name can't go further 1066+ makes me think name norman in origin? find sort of stuff interesting, if knows or has helpful say, please do. thank in advance

canadians have been blasting through mountains , going on or under waterways centuries - george massey tunnel under fraser river being local example. Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
