1997 buick park avenue cylinders filling up with water?


head gasket , cracked blocks , heads extremely rare on 3800's. upper intake coolant leaks common. coolant leaking upper intake , leaks down cylinders based on gravity. leak occurs right throttle body cylinder 5 , 6 of coolant. solve problem have replace upper intake. $150 part full retail , such common problem parts stores stock it. aftermarket intakes have improved design won't happen again. not bad job replace take couple hours if paying shop guess @ least $500 job.

don't keep driving can end doing serious damage engine.

cylinders seem filling antifreeze, not leaking oil. have cracked head or gasket going out?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
