AUDI A4 1.8 PETROL 1999 PROBLEM?


fuel system: check fuel pressure sensor, hpfp, fuel lines , intank fuel pump.
can done using vcds formerly known vag com
need narrow down fault codes if available.
did like car friend , swapped few parts on diagnose part @ fault.

mine turned out intank fuel pump - not hold pressure sensor on faulty , sock filter in bad way @ 80k miles.

replaced battery , car starts runs 10 or 15 second cuts out if not getting fuel ideas wrong. thanks!!

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
