Pet parrot curses a lot, and gf says it is inappropriate for kids. What do I do?


have pet parrot. kind talks (african grey). loud , pretty knows every curse word in book, , makes sure let know fact. roomate has had girlfriend come on bunch of times, , yesterday brought kids over. well, admiring bird when flipped out cussing storm does. kids laughing , enjoying every minute of it, gf appauled. said bird had go or couldn't bring kids on anymore. started say, "that's fine. didn't want them on here anyway..." roomate stopped me. mad @ me if it's fault taught bird words (which did), , says it's highly innappropriate, , need remedy situation.

so... here's thing. don't her, roomnate does. it's house, not his. pays rent. how can solve problem least amount of effort?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
