hong kong not have own military force, defensive measures , diplomatic relations handled beijing, single representative of chinese territories.

think of relationship between scotland , rest of uk, scotland has own parliament in holyrood, own legislations , control on education, policing etc, prints own currency (the sterling, albeit same rate of exchange pound).

scotland cannot act independent nation, , major defence , diplomacy carried out westminster in london representation of whole of britain, includes scotland.

nowadays it's more of advantage being associated mainland china - beijing's central system able pass legislations without being bogged down in bureaucratic nightmare. china 1 of few economies wasn't affected global recession, , being part of china hong kong enjoys exclusive economic benefits that's vital commercial port city.

hong kong has own currency, police, military, flag, government, education system, etc. how part of china? china hong kong makes territory of china?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
