What is a good vacation spot in California?


avalon on catalina island. town rather small population of 4,000. there no mega-malls, no theme parks, not private cars in town. off-season resort, prices rather low. crowds of vacationing families don't arrive until closer summer.

enjoy beach, ocean cruises, souvenir shopping, tours of inland, dining, sports, , plain relaxing.

i looking vacation spot in california not expensive. have been oxnard , hrmosa , seems nice small places. have been la , not looking crowded or expensive, yet nothing filled family tourists or younger kids..

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
