Best new queen sized bed to fit up a tight stairway?


wife , have 140 year old house tight stairway. want new queen sized bed though. had fold our old 1 way up. have read, folding many new mattresses voids warranty. had cut , fold box spring up, not want repeat.

wife seems convinced air mattress (e.g. sleep number) our option. concerned way overpriced, , prefer non-air mattress. suggestions on kind of bed should buy fit tight stairway?

@ point i'd rather buy stack of memory foam mattress toppers (e.g. http://www.amazon.com/sleep-studio-visco2-ventilated-mattress/dp/b000lqg0ei/ref=lp_3732521_1_2?ie=utf8&qid=1362136170&sr=1-2), stack them up, , try that. @ least can rolled , moved 1 @ time.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
