My civic is grinding when going to first on a roll?


ok drove 2000 honda civic ex yesterday , when attempting downshift first going excess of 5mph grind , not shift gear. ive never had problem prior. if i'm stopped slips right in , other gears work fine. can culprit here , around how fix
