Why even in KL, Indians still have Indian accent, Malay have Malay accent, Chinese have Chinese accent?


that's beauty of diversity!

people criticize there's lack of unity among different races in malaysia, i'm happier malaysian model compared singaporean model.

malays in malaysia more malay, chinese more chinese , indians more indian in respect cultural aspects, whether language, food, architecture, clothing, showbiz , etiquette. love fact other malaysians different me.

in singapore, second-generation singaporeans more american local. typical singaporean speaks english, eats in mcdonalds, listens american pop music, watches hollywood, behaves american.

sadly, globalization killed 'singaporeanness'. maybe that's why many singaporeans against massive inflow of immigrants these days.

compared singapore, has singaporean accent (excluding foreigners). discuss.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
