places big c, tesco/lotus, foodland, villa market, etc., have stores in both bangkok , pattaya, prices far wholesale prices @ or stores in thailand. in fact, you'll pay @ least twice price imported groceries @ stores. if want cheap eat cheaply, learn eat , shop locals. limit buying imported food, shop @ fresh markets , eat @ food carts, food stalls , food courts. otherwise, you'll find food costs can more in many western countries.

i planing trip bangkok , pattaya , staying there month, wondering if there market in pattaya , bangkok can purchase groceries @ whole sale prices

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
