Describe characteristics of different Callaway graphite shafts?

if mean stock offerings, not much. callaway used commission shaft manufacturer make stock offerings (the rch line 1 such shaft). lately they've used "made for" versions of popular shafts stock offering. these types of shafts, "in house" brethern, little softer in flex , weaker in tip says on shaft. doesn't mean they're crap, callaway, other brands, knows golfers think need "s" flex shafts when in reality need "r" or "a" flex. average golfer thinks needs <3.5* torque when in reality need >4*. they're trying make customer happy while giving them need... if don't realize truth, harm done? can avoidable if average golfer go , custom fitted.

if we're talking upgrade options, little different. may play same "made for" options, play differently. if you're curious, check website out:

have kinds of shafts, including ones callaway uses, included. can see archived shafts, if wish. there's each shaft frequencies at, amount of deflection @ 3 different points, it's torque value raw , cut... lots of info.
