What should i wear to tennis tryouts?


***i have week of try outs starting monday. pretty cold out okay if wore pair of adidas sweatpants , tee shirt? if not should wear?***

normally, recommend comfortable clothing gives plenty of freedom of movement. me, it's not fashion show, it's athletic tryout. otoh, people stand out , make big "splash" attire. others prefer play conservative. think looks odd beginner wear designer duds top 10 players in world come out with. can wear whatever feel ok wearing. sadly, fancy clothing not turn highly-ranked player. takes time, work, , teaching.

nike makes thin, long-sleeve shirts make "foundation" heavier clothing on top of them. hats , visors can protect head , face on sunny days.

if need it, make sure you've broken in shoes wearing them few days around house or apartment, , use foot powder every time work out or play tennis.

if it's cold, tee shirt not enough. bring few layers of sweaters, sweatshirts, warm-up jackets, etc, etc keep warm. if it's really, cold, maybe long johns underneath sweat pants, knit cap on head until warm enough remove it.

best, hope make team. if not, , tennis, maybe take lessons @ local tennis club , play there 5 or 6 days week.
