Advise with neighbours that make noise?


hey .i live in counsel house i'm no benefit srounger me , partner both work.we have had new neighbours move in seem nice people , both deaf.problem because deaf can't here there telly have on full blast.and when work want peaceful night.we have young child goes bed , noise echoes room to.i don't want knock , ask them turn there telly down won't able here there own telly because there deaf.but @ same time why should suffer because of this.i thinking of going speak housing officer , asking them sound proof our house ....what think..ty

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
