Having a baby shower party at a restaurant and not catering?


tacky! guests expected pay own food otherwise asked leave. personally? cut costs little bit , lower cost venue less decorations , cheap filling food. no 1 remember there wonderful ice sculpture let alone decorations dollar store.

if hostess or hostesses cannot afford dinner @ restaurant, don't have there. plain , simple. nothing more tacky telling people feed , buy new family gift. oh, , if there lot of people should okay tell mother to trim guest list because can't afford it.

can feed lot of people cheap few decisions.

buy hamburger meat on sale , freeze till big day. sloppy joe cans on sale , buy few of those. ingredients make crockpot sloppy joe mix , make day of. supplement 1 can make sure stays liquid.

buns try freezing it'll better buy them day of.

pop can stock when it's on sale. try not drink it. same water , lemonade. can punch mixes , purchase ingredients on sale.

pasta salad cheap make.

generic potato chips , dip cheap , can put out.

may cheaper buy premade deli tray grocery store.

cake grocery store.

also, buy salad mixes or spring making own salad.

buy plates, cups, silverware, , napkins dollar tree or on sale. no 1 notice if pink plates or blue plates.

throw @ someone's house or room @ community center or see if park has indoor facilities.

yes it's not fancy, feeds lot of people. lot better asking people pay own way.

online , see people think of baby showers ask people pay own meal. response isn't positive. also, give mother-to-be head's since people may take out on allowing happen.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
