My 2013 honda civic is not getting the mpg says it should!?


bought 2013 honda civic , have put on 1200 miles on far. tag said should 32/39 mpg (city/highway). have seen other tags 28/39. not understand why average on display shows 24.5 mpg. have been calculating mpg have been getting on own calculator , last average calculated 20.5 mpg. not punch gas, , try best keep display lights green eco on. there no check engine lights on honda saying need pay them $280 have checked out plus $40-$80 gas (to test). extremely mad because brother has 2013 accord , accord average of 24 , friend has 2013 accord ( drives economic me) gets 26mpg... how possible lighter car getting 24.5 (20.5) city , highway average, , accord getting 26 city only? know problem be? should do? please....

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
