Will the Philippines become a better country in our lifetime?


before late ferdinand marcos became president,the philippines considered economic tiger in asia - second japan.that equivalent singapore , taiwan @ present.then when marcos elected president in 1965,the country deteriorated being economic tiger in 1960's developing country in 1970's , third world country 1980's present.marcos amassed more $10 billion in 20-year rule.unfortunately,when ousted in 1986,the philippines never recovered graft , corruption has become way of life filipinos.will philippines ever recover in our lifetime?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
