How fast could the new gen6 nascars go if they didnt have restrictor plates?


going guess,
until it.
if @ speeds of cars on big
track, no plate, pocono, same 10 years
ago, last time raced before new pavement.
same true michigan. ~190 10 years ago, ~190 today.
unrestricted, on big tracks, cars have not increased dramatically.

in 2004 rusty went 216 @ talladega, no plate in test.
think guesses in 220+ range, little optimistic,
given other "speed tracks", have not seen significant changes
in same timeframe..

and faster when didnt have restrictor plates?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
