When time outs fail...spanking?


son defiant when asked things(pick dog poop up,brush teeth,etc)he's 8 temper when mad freaks me out, wants fight me punch , kick, tears rolling down face. , if laugh, forget it, try not because of reaction,,but pretty cute. none less take favorite toys away,do time outs,but behavior doesn't change. i've spanked him in past hate having resort made me mad @ mom doing. think @ point when consequences don't seem bother him, should go spanking him...what works that's different i've tried , failed at
