What trousers do you wear on the DofE under your waterproofs?


walking trousers - light weight, quick drying trousers basicall outdoor shop (millets, blacks, cotswolds etc) best. lined, zip off, roll etc far best dry should soaked. find waterproofs quite hot , sweaty it's more comfortable have light trousers underneath rather heavy jeans

im going on dofe on saturday, ive got kit dont know wear under waterproofs, because ever wear skinny jeans, , dont want disgusting please help!!!

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
