How can I store solar/wind energy in gravity or potential energy?


if have 2 large ponds @ different elevations, pump water lower pond upper pond , draw power through micro-hydro. weights not store lot of energy, need handle large amount of mass.

i want suggestion on system design store wind or solar energy directly gravity run house. on example gravity based light, want run heavy loads. how can build , calculate based on 1000 watts home requirements.
suggenstion on system design highly appreciated.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
