Can methane be used vehicles as a fuel?


methane major component of fossil fuel, natural gas. can produced biological product in digestion, , anaerobic action of microbes on biomass (as in biodigester.)

part of natural gas, methane used predominately cooking , heating fuel. possible adjust internal combustion engine accept natural gas (often in compressed form: cng) motor fuel similar way propane used (forklifts...)

however, "eco-friendlyness" of fossil fuel relative. methane greenhouse gas several times more potent carbon dioxide. (although tends remain in atmosphere 6 years.)

recovering natural gas uses criticized practice of hydro-fracking. issues of hydrofracking mentioned include increased earthquakes, pollution of ground water, excessive use of fresh water supplies , no present plan disposal of millions of gallons of water polluted chemicals , radioactivity being used medium hydrofracking. claims fuel "non-polluting" mistaken. can claimed may better alternatives.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
