Do you prefer CD or Vinyl ?


if record brand new, never played , equipment top notch vinyl. because of prefer compact disc it's ease of use , unlimited plays without degradation. blindfold , ask them 1 , 9 times out of 10 wont able hear difference. 16 bit, 44,100 khz pretty darn accurate.

low bit-rate mp3 icky, flac, aiff , alac whole other story.

with comparable equipment (turntable & cd player) , other equipment being same, can hear difference between analog & digital? won't bring mp3 question. :()

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
