plane ticket not included in that. 2500$ enough 14 days stay? want visit both kyoto , tokyo. how cheap hostels go in japan? , how in cash need foods day? , public transportation? (bus, taxi, subway)

2500$ more enough when went china, , stayed there whole month. i'm guessing japan much more expensive.
