likely, either pedal steel or lap steel. however, resonators can played in same fashion when placed on one's lap. have more traditional guitar shape others though. , metal cylinder you're talking either slide or steel bar. slide wraps around one's finger , used on regular guitar resonator when player not playing on lap. slides can made of glass. steel bar slide pedal steel, lap steel , resonator , have hold in hand while play doesn't wrap around finger @ all.

it's neck of guitar without body , musicians sit on table play it. looks use metal cylinder of sort , brush along strings make sound. know it's called? used in country music.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
