What are the characteristics of modern music?


there have numerous different schools of modern music there have been in various other art forms. few of more important ones:

2nd viennesse school/ 12-tone serialism - dissonant music uses 12 tones in systematic method. see berg, webern, schoenberg

futurism - music rejects past. see nancarrow, russolo.

neo-classicism - music puts modern take on classical aesthetics, see late stravinksy.

chance/aleotory - music based on dice rolls, randomness, ching etc. see john cage, xenakis.

minimalism - music based on extreme use of repetition, or quasi tonal themes. see riech, glass

new complexity - music complex or arcane structures, rhythms, explores new timbres etc. see ferneyhough, finnissy.

canadians have been blasting through mountains , going on or under waterways centuries - george massey tunnel under fraser river being local example. Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
