How do you make a body mould for an angel sculpture?


make 2 life-size angels base, ones find in cemeteries, i'm not sure how go it. i'd make them standing head down , hands across chest.

@ first thought i'd use papier mache on human model, read can take 2 days dry! read alginate. alginate flexible? if use human model, hands not touch chest, can mould full arms , chest because need dress final sculpture in white dress, after dressing stick fingers shoulders arms remain crossed. if use alginate, , if flexible, able cut along spine of model after dries, peel off front.

i'm after more information alginate, , whether allow me peel off model flexibly, because told i'd have mix silicone, isn't silicone irritant?
