What were the parts that hurt spectators at the Nation-wide Race?


entire front section of car torn off when hit portion of catch fence had gate. engine landed @ bottom of fencing in walkway between stands , catch fence. full wheel assembly, including tire, wheel, hub , parts of suspension broke free car , flew on fence , stands. 2 serious injuries fans being struck wheel assembly. other fans hit sheet metal, , other parts resulting in numerous lacerations , few broken bones.

side note, big props tony stewart halifax medical , visited injured fans on 2 hours on sunday, nascar & dis assisted injured , families reunite after being treated. need design better catch fence.

the motor flew in seats?...tires?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
