Does every drawing have a vanishing point?

ask simple, insightful, question. simple answer drawings have vanishing points , not.

more complex answer. drawings (and paintings) can 2 dimensional (height , width) or give illusion of 3 dimensions (height, width , depth , more realistic).

drawings in have sense of spatial depth or 3 dimensions have horizon line , one, 2 , 3 vanishing points (e.g., tall buildings).

table may have 1 or 2 vanishing points. if across top of table side nearest opposite side, edges of left , right sides of table have single vanishing point @ eye level (horizon line) somewhere in distance. if looking directly @ 1 of corners of table, edge left (if line along edge imagined extended) vanish horizon line (your eye level) left , edge right (if line along edge imagined extended) have second vanishing point right. not easy concept ones head around.

not rule have vanishing points , imaginary horizon lines; tool creating illusion of depth.
