Is talent agents a good start for acting?


need agent if you're going work professionally , professional acting business. people in make money. talent agents paid on commission - percentage of clients make. (never pay agent front.) since paid if clients paid, picky take on clients. , can picky because there lot more people wanting actors there roles. can't go out , hire agent. , agents not interested in beginners - they're looking clients have demonstrated talent, training, experience , commitment book professional jobs.

start acting career getting taking acting classes (maybe voice , dance lessons too) , getting experience (generally in low-to-no-pay jobs community theater or student films). should research business end of acting. there lot of scams , ripoffs out there , need understand how things work people can't take advantage of you.

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
