Disappointed with Daytona 500 auto race t.v. coverage?


noted unlike other years, though "superbowl" of auto racing, seem adding lot of extraneous "fluff" coverage. race car drivers "march different drummer"...who needed band. remember deafening sound of engines when watched race live in '74. never wanted or expected hear band (there weren't any)...or now. old age guess.

i watched (tried watch) daytona 500 race on cable t.v. today (never again). seemed 99% commercials (more televised event have ever tried watch).
if watched it, did find commercials excessive ? wondering.
