How to wire a new light fixture and switch using the power from an exsisting switch?


if switch has 1 white , 1 black both connected switch cannot run additional light switch. have hot white wire coming junction box light mounted , black switch leg going power light.

can run pair of wires existing light new light location, connect new wires same connectors connected light fixture.

i have single pole switch ceiling light, took switch out , has 1 white , 1 black wire. installing pendant lighting , use existing switch power new switch pendant lights. how should wire this.
