2010 Hyundai Accent 4D GS Warranty - Did I get duped?


bought 2010 hyundai accent 4-door gs base model 52,404 miles $10,000 + $1,995 comprehensive bumper-to-bumper warranty (total sales price = $11,995).

asked sales person if car came warranty , said no. read on http://www.nadaguides.com/cars/2010/hyundai/accent-4-cyl/sedan-4d-gls/warranty comes 10 yr / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. whole point sales person i'd buy car if $10k price tag included warranty (not $1,995 *extra*).

anyway, when left dealership , came 3 hours later fill out paperwork, warranty listed separate line item total price 2 grand more wanted.

sales price of $11,995 feels high me though comprehensive warranty covers literally everything.

thoughts?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
