How do I prevent flat tires?


reduce number of flats get, first have determine has been causing problem. many punctures caused insufficient inflation. these pinch flats occur when inner tube compressed between tire , rim when bike hits bump. flats happen because tire worn tiny objects on road pierce tire , inner tube. defective rim tapes can cause flats. poor quality tires more flat prone. there other causes. figure out why having flat tires, correct problem

are there tricks can bike tires prevent flats & make inner tubes last longer? i'm asking because seem have tire problems, thanks!

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
