winches. reccomend welding tow reciever front of car. if your self , stuck can have 2 options of towing out have put winch on sheet of heavy gage metal weld , put male towing hitch on put in either receiver. off road jacks must cant use standard 1 have 1 designed off road. tow straps , pulleys. these make easier pull or body else out.but pulleys keep in mind need hook ex tree or rock.lights. saying have headlights why should need more? off road lighting when gets dark , reg headlights covered in mud these headlights typically put on front bumper or on roof or both. make sure have covers on actual light if dont theyll covered im mud , useless covers muddy pullem off , have lights. bumpers,skid plates, , snorkels. bumpers should heavy gage aluminum or iron. way hit unseen rock in mud hole covered. skip plates essiential mudding. make sure there 1 covering engine ( cut holes in allow engine breathing) transmission driveshafts transfer case fuel tank diferentials , other vital componets. if mudhole more of water little bit of mud reccomend snorkel engine does'nt stall. fluids spares , other equipment. standard tool kit powertools , ratchets screwdrivers etc. make sure have tools required fix on vehicle. spare fluids in case break oil filter or spring leak.all fluids recomended. spare mud tire thing . have. last few things tow hooks on bumpers or het tow hook hitch. tow straps can hold 2-3x vehicle weight ratchet straps optional recommended. 1-200 feet of heavy duty rope in case stuck , tow out point far away. phone charger , car charger emergencys. survival kit.water , food. if gonna use beer drink not drink in survival situation dehydrates you. flares , flare gun. gun or knife optional

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
