On my period.. Surfing with a wetsuit?


i'm going on field trip class ocean, we're going surfing. problem: have period ! wearing full body wetsuits , plan wear swim suit under wetsuit fresh pad (my period reasonably light) , board shorts. main concern sharks!!!! know blood diluted in ocean shark has incredible senses blood... help?!!?? tips or advice??/

p.s- may have use one.. tampons scare me little, therefore use them last resot..
