Why we have to move towards non conventional energy sources?

in 1956 man named m king hubbert came theory how natural resources used. production increases steadily until point, when resource begins become scarce, , production less , less each year. called hubbert's curve. experts believe @ peak of oil production, , believe past peak. in years come, fossil fuels grow more , more scarce , therefore more , more expensive, , less , less of them produced.

development of civilization on earth require more energy on years, not less! china , india both gaining middle class. people doing better, of course, more , more people want cars. in 30 or 40 years there twice number of automobiles on earth there now. need find new way power them.

here in north america arguing on 'tar sands', source of petroleum more costly sucking out of ground through wells. not expensive in terms of cost per gallon of fuel, has serious environmental costs. it's way keep oil coming year or two, final results still inevitable.

developing wind , solar power, , hydro power, , looking more ways generate electricity. looks in years come internal combustion engine become less , less practical, , electric motor take on more , more.
