How do I ask a teacher for a letter of reccomendation?


i'm kinda quiet in classes don't have personal relationship teachers. don't have extracurriculars except being in 2 clubs participate.... have grades though there way teacher write me letter? want 1 hospital volunteer position...

10 year old who I babysit has hit me, etc. What should I do?
