Hi i have bought an old cooker with three things for a flat ,, the wires on the back of the cooker are red,bla?

red connects brown. live conductor.

black connects blue. neutral conductor.

bare copper wire must have green/yellow sheath (buy hardware or shop) slid on , connected earth terminal @ cooker supply terminal.

must earth cooker proper earth terminal. not fix earth wire water pipe or metal conduit because cannot guarantee pipe bonded mains earth.

never attempt use cooker without earth connected. if there internal fault body of appliance become live mains connected before turn 1 of knobs.... , takes 1 electric shock kill people.

take note of power consumption of cooker. if connecting standard 13a plug appliance total load must not exceed 3kw or you'll blowing plug fuse.
