Examples & meaning of an alternative energy?


alternative energy refers methods of generating energy not usual method (i.e. fossil fuels). there many forms of alternative energy, but, energy conserved, you've ask energy comes (& answer "the sun"). sun undergoes nuclear reactions result in release of photons (beams of light have energy associated them). alternative energy forms capture energy sun in different ways (actually, fossil fuels got energy sun long time ago).

here few alternative energy sources-

• wind

• concentrated solar power (mirrors heating tower of water)

• geothermal energy

• tidal energy

• solar panels

• wave energy

• hydroelectric dams
