Is Economics really just bull***t?


yeah, forry, took couple of economics courses @ university. read worldly philosophers text on economics have read wasn't rubbish. know little keynes , galbraith. malthus , contemporaries. i'm not ignorant economics. i'm unimpressed. whatever is, ain't science. world democratic leaders seem find economics baffling. no economist has ever solved fiscal problem. describe "the ideal case" , pretend conclusions draw "the ideal case" have real meaning.

there many competing theories , "analyses" of economic situations no clear, coherent reliable one. financial , stock market analysts pay attention economists? or view horse race bet odds?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
