Best area to live in California near or in Los Angeles?


if west hollywood way expensive, santa monica , venice way expensive. might try san fernando valley. gets hotter , smoggier , drive can pain, rents , else cheaper. there nice places live , work in valley.

van nuys, studio city, burbank, sherman oaks, canoga park, woodland hills, north hollywood, etc.

i want move soon. it'll first time being on own , wanted know best area should move. i'm trying land pharmacy technician job. west hollywood option way expensive starting out? please give me suggestions , reasons why or why not, thanks.
